• Frequently Asked Questions

    Q. ” Haven’t I seen you somewhere before?”

    A. You may have seen Lee on his own YouTube channel, or product demonstrating for Ibanez, Laney, or Dawson’s Music. You may even have caught him at one of the dozen guitar shows he attends each year. (Did you say hello?)

    Q. “Why are you charging for your lessons? You give them away on YouTube, don’t you?”

    A. Whilst the YouTube Channel contains a wealth of information, topics are not nearly as in-depth nor specific as those available within our HD Tutorial library. We wanted to give guitarists the opportunity to expand on topics covered on the channel, and provide a more professional and thorough delivery. Unfortunately making, storing, and serving these HD Tutorials creates an unavoidable cost. We try to keep this as low as possible by making tutorials available for download, as opposed to creating hard copy dvds.

    Q. “How do I purchase an HD Tutorial?”

    A. Simple (we hope).  Head on over to the HD Tutorials library, and shop as you ordinarily would. You will need to register an account when you checkout (which is painless, honestly), so you can keep track of your purchases, and obtain access to your tutorial in the future.

    Q. “How do I watch / download my Tutorial?”

    A. Once your purchase is confirmed, you’ll obtain instant access to your download link. You will also find your links in ‘My Account,’ and via the purchase confirmation email sent out to your registered account. Just click the link on your browser, and the file will start to download straight to your hardrive. Your link will remain active for 30 days after purchase, so if you don’t want to download it straight away, you can always come back at a later date.

    Q. “Can I watch my tutorial more than once?”

    A. You can watch it as often as you’d like! Once downloaded the video is yours to watch, pause, and rewind, as many times as you’d like.

    Q. “Can I watch your tutorials on my smart phone or tablet?”

    A. Of course. Once you’ve downloaded the tutorial to your hard drive, you can share it across your devices. Alternatively you can stream your tutorial by accessing the link directly from your device.

    Q. “So, I can share my tutorial with family and friends?”

    A. Please don’t. Whilst we were always taught that it’s ‘nice to share,’ our videos are copyrighted, and distributing them without permission is not cool. We don’t encode or protect our videos, so the costs stay down. This allows us to put our energies and  into more meaningful developments, like expanding our tutorial library, and adding more free content to the YouTube channel.

    Q. “I can’t find what I’m looking for. Help?”

    A. We are but a small operation, and our Tutorial and YouTube library is growing every week. In the meantime, if you think there’s a topic we should be covering, get in touch, and let us know your thoughts.

    Q. “Do you offer one-to-one tuition?”

    A. Yep. Just fill out a contact form to enquire about Skype tuition, or visit the Skype page for more information.

    Q. “And in person???”

    A. Lee would love to. But unless you live next door, Skype is much more convenient for both parties. Lee is available for master class bookings for multiple participants … get in touch to find out more.

    Q. “I’m having a problem with the website, or downloading my tutorial.”

    A. “Don’t panic, we’re here to help. Fill out our contact form and Lee or one of his ‘techies’ will get back to you ASAP.
